Issyk Ata gorge

Issyk Ata is a wonderful gorge that is famous because of the hot springs with curative mineral water. It takes just two hours from Bishkek to get there. It is a beautiful gorge where you can have a light treck to a picturesque mountain waterfall. There is a small pass that leads you to it. There you can have a picnic. Also if wish you can go to swim an open swimming pool with mineral hot water. You will swim there and enjoy the remarkable view of mountains around!

 

Program:

9.00 a.m.     Meeting in your hotel.

11.00 a.m.   Arrival to the gorge of Hot Spring that is translation of the words Issyk Ata. In Soviet period there was built a resort to heal people with hot springs. The resort still works and people come here to rest and swim in a special swimming pool, to drink the curative water.

11.20 a.m.   Before we start our treck to the waterfall we will visit the image of Buda that is more than 100 years old. In ancient time many people used to come to this place to pray and ask for health. This place even today considered to be a sacred one.

1.30 p.m.     Coming to the waterfall.

2.00 p.m.     Picnic.

4.00 p.m.     Departure to your hotel.
