It is an unforgettable tour where you will not only see dissimilar kinds of mountains and the world's second largest mountain lake Issyk Kul, but also experience the usual nomad's life while hiking along our heavenly mountains! During this journey you will have trekking in a wild nature, among beautiful gorges, mountains and celestial lakes.
Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley (170 km-4 h)
Your guide will meet you at Manas International Airport to transfer (30 min. drive) you to Bishkek City, the capital of this superb Central Asian country, where you will start the day with a breakfast in Chinese Muslims guest house, if you arrive too early we offer you a nice room with comfortable beds and shower. The half day is devoted to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the Ala-Too Central Ceremonial Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Concert Hall at the place of Manas (legendary hero of the Kyrgyz people), Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. After transfer to Chon-Kemin valley, on the way visiting the Burana tower that dated 11 century, a site of a medieval city of Balasagun - the capital of the Karahanid State (the Karakanids are identified with modern day Uigurs). Dinner and overnight is in the chon - Kemin local guesthouse.
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Chon Sary Oi village ( 150 km-4 h)
After breakfast you will see Kyrgyz nomads with their yurts and sheep's as it was 100 years ago among the Tian Shan mountains, strong rivers, pine trees; we will also have time for a photo session to capture all the beauty and charms of Chon Kemin Valley,wide alpine valley. On our way to the Chon Sary Oi village we will stop not far from Chon-Kemin valley in order to walk 3 hours in Konorchek red sandstone Canyons, where at the end of the gorge we will present you a stunning view where everybody can find his favorite image, then a picnic. We will continue our trip to Chon Sary Oi Village (1600m), the north shore of Issik-kul Lake. Dinner and preparations are organized for the trek. Overnihgt is in guesthouse.
Day 3: Chon Sary Oi village - Orto-Koi Suu - Kok-Airik Pass (3889 m) (30 km; 6 hours)
After good breakfast our vehicle will bring us on the mountain road in the Orto-Koi Suu gorge. We start our first day of hitch - hiking at 7 o'clock in the morning. Some time later we will meet our horseman with horses. Then we will pack on horses our luggage and proceed with our hiking! So today we have to go to the foot of Kok-Airik Pass (3889 m) where we encamp (3200 m). Overnight is in tents.
Day 4: Kok-Airik Pass (3889 m) - Orto-Koi Suu River - Koi Suu River (40 km; 8 hours)
After breakfast we prepare all of our equipment and belongings, and then immerse it all on the horse, we will go further. We have to get back to 3889 m Kok-Airik Pass after that we find ourselves in the gorge of Orto-Koi Suu where is a river with the same name. This is a very beautiful and wild place with only mountains and amazing glaciers of the Kungey Mountain Range and an absolute silence. A little bit later going down the gorge we will reach on the biggest river on Kungey range (Sunny Mountains) is Chon Kemin River. Dinner. We will end our trip today at the bank of Koi Suu river - is one of the hundred rivers that following into huge River of Chon Kemin where we encamp (3000 m). Overnight is in tents.
Day 5: Koi Suu River - Chon Kemin River - Djaman Suu River (40 km; 8 hours)
Today we will move along the Chon Kemin river! Hall beauty of these places and this valley can't be described in a word! You just have to write a book after all what happened with you during your trip here! Thus, our breakfast will be served at 7 o'clock in the morning and we have to travel on further seeking of new impressions. The main aim for today is to reach Djaman Suu River where we will set up our camp! Also today you will have opportunity to make photos one of the highest mountains of the Kungey Mountain Range is Choktal Mountain (4771), seeming to be the lonely watcher of this range! Dinner. Overnight is in tents (3000 m).
Day 6: Djaman Suu River - Kara - Korum Pass (3705 m) (35 km; 7 hours)
Today, after 7 o'clock meal we get to Kara - Korum Pass (3705 m). We arrange a picnic at one of the picturesque places here named Dere hole. Just say what can be better then simply seat at the bank of the mountain river, to eat and to hear only sounds the surrounding us wild nature: water babble and the songs of the birds. Simply a marvel! In the end of the day we approach Kara - Korum Pass (3705 m). Free time before dinner! Overnight is in tents at the altitude of 3300 m.
Day 7: Kara - Korum Pass (3705 m) - Kel Tor gorge (35 km; 7 hours)
A breakfast is to be served at 7 o'clock. We are expected rather long and hard day today. First of all we will have to cross Korum Pass (3705 m). But it will be worth it because wonderful picture will be opened in front of you. You will have opportunity staying on this panorama to observe Kel Tor and other gorges. It seems you are alone in this world and you are just little peace of this world.Amazing! So in result we will reach Kel Tor gorge where we will set up our camp again! Dinner. Overnight is in tents (3260 m).
Day 8: Kel Tor gorge - Kolkogur Lake (35 km; 7 hours)
So today as standard our meal will be served at 7 o'clock. Today will be interesting day for you! You should to take with yourself only lunch-boxes and towels for those who wish for swimming in the lake. So, if you have good health and feel free to swim there! Firstly, we will move towards 2720 m. Kolkogur Lake. This petite picturesque mountain lake is lost among high and sharp mountains. Picnic is at the bank of the lake! There are not many people who had seen it! But after we will have to return back to our camp. Dinner. Overnight in tents (3260 m).
Day 9: Kel Tor gorge - Kel Tor Pass (3490 m) - Tamchi village (80 km; 8 hours)
Breakfast is to be served at 7 o'clock in the morning. But, unfortunately, it is the end day of trekking. But it will be not one of the easiest days cause we have to across3490 m. Kel Tor Pass and afterwards to go down and down, down and down till the road not far from Toru - Aigyr villge where our driver will be waiting for us. Then we will move along the Issyk - Kul lake till Tamchi village (1600 m.) where we will be accommodated at the local house, where you will have enough time to take shower or to swim in the lake. Dinner. Overnight is in local house.
Day: 10 Tamchi village - Bishkek (180 km; 3 hours)
So today after a delicious breakfast, this day driving back to Bishkek takes 3 hours. You have enough time in the morning last time to see Issyk - Kul as closer as possible and to touch the water or just simply to swim. But time is coming and we have to go further. We move along th e northern shore of the lake. After several hours we get in our capital where you are accommodated at Kyrgyz Nomads Guest House! Overnight is in the guesthouse. Last traditional dinner. Leaving party!
Day 11: Bishkek - Europe
