Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley (170 km - 4 h)
30 min. drive from Manas International Airport to Bishkek City. In case you arrive too early we can offer you a nice room with comfortable beds and you will be able to take a shower. You will start the day with a breakfast in Dungan - Chinese Guesthouse. The half day is dedicated to Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. You will be accompanied by your guide. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. After transfer to Chon Kemin valley, on the way visiting the Burana Tower Historical complex, a site of a medieval city of Balasagun (the capital of the Karahanid Kaganate, who were the representatives of Turkic ethnic). Dinner and overnight is in Ashuu guesthouse. 

Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga (150 km - 4 h)
After breakfast you will have time for a photo session to capture all the beauty of Chon Kemin Valley, where you have a wonderful opportunity to see real Kyrgyz nomads who live in their yurts almost like 1000 years ago in the Tien- Shan Mountains surrounded by fast rivers, fir trees. Before our departure to Tamga, we will stop not far from Chon-Kemin in order to hike 2 hours in Konorchek labyrinths, where at the end of the gorge you will see a magic view of red mountains. Then picnic is organized here. Afterwards we will go on with our trip to Tamga, a small village with a predominantly Russian character and population that is situated on the southern shore of Issik Kul lake, the second largest mountain lake in the world and the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan. In Tamga, there is a sanatorium that was constructed by the Japanese prisoners of the war, where soviet astronauts used to rehabilitate and train their skills, as the altitude and climate created just perfect conditions to do that. On the way to Tamga we will visit our famous Talgat - a hunter with eagles. He will tell us about his birds. After it we can do some photos of the eagles. After arrival in Tamga village you will have sometime to swim in the lake. Accommodation is in Askar and Tamara home stay. 

Day 3: Tamga - Barskoon gorge - Dunguromo Pass (3570 m) - Dugurotmo gorge (5 hours)           
After breakfast we will drive to Barskoon village. There we will visit the family who are occupied with manufacturing of yurts. This will be an incredible opportunity for you to reveal the secret of producing those amazing nomadic dwellings. Then we continue our way to Barskoon gorge, one of the most picturesque places in the mountainous Terskey Ala Too. You will see one of the highest waterfalls in Kyrgyzstan that is 60 meters high, and which is situated at the altitude of 2500 m. above sea level. There is aloso the stone of astronauts with a sign of first man in the space - Urii Gagarin.  From this place we start our trekking. We will have an ascent to 3100 m. Dunguromo pass after which we find ourselves in a wonderful valley Dunguromo. After a few kilometers down from the pass, we stop for the camping. Night is in tents at the altitude of 2850 m. Dinner will give us an opportunity to share with impressions of this marvelous hiking tour day. 

Day 4: Dungurotmo gorge - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Chokolu Lake (7 hours)
Today we wake up around 7 o'clock in the morning in order to cross a historical pass. We will have a « vertical » climb to the Chokolu Lake over Zauka Pass, which is considered to be the part of the great Silk Way.  Such famous travelers as Ella Mayart 1932, Semenov Tyanshyanskii 1856 passed this place in the ancient time:, the Chinese Muslims are also known to come from China 200 years ago.  The landscape is relatively flat, from vegetation prevails fine grass and moss, the climate is close to the tundra climate. Coming closer to the lake we will pitch our camp at the altitude of 3800 m.; night is in tents.

 

 

Day 6: Ashu Kashka Suu gorge - Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m) - Jukuchak gorge (7 hours)
Early in the morning we will have to prepare for the continuing hiking up the Ashu Kashka Suu Gorge. Having got to the begining of the pass, we make a short halt for lunch and then we will have to ascend to the Ashu Tor Pass. After the pass we get into the Dzhukuchak gorge where the warm mineral springs are. Here we are given an opportunity to take a bath with hot mineral water. After bathing the guide will offer you a local beer but not Kyrgyz beer, this time is real Kyrgyz beer.   Dinner and overnight is in tents at an altitude of 2500 m. 

Day 7: Dzhukuchak gorge - Orto Bulak Pass (2900 m) - Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge
In the morning we will go towards the Kichi Kyzyl Suu Valley. First we reach in the territory of Issyk Kul forestry that is located in the Dzhukuchak gorge. Further we have to climb to 2900 m. top of the pass Orto Bulak. Then we approach to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge where we break our camp for the night. This place is famed for its unbelievable prettiness and stunning views of mountains.  Dinner.  The night you are supposed to be spent in tents at the altitude of 2300 m. Sharing impressions of the previous days. 

Day 8: Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Jili Suu water warm springs
After a good breakfast we begin our trekking towards the picturesque valley - ChonKyzyl Suu. The region is famous for its beauty: nomads and wonderful mountains make you feel like you are on the top of the world! First we have to go down to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge through the territory of forestry. Then we will go all along the Djily Suu Mountains and finally we approach Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge. Here we enter the area of Ak Tash. Then we go up about three miles up to the balmy hot springs where we will again be able to take a warm bath and slow down. Overnight is in tents at the altitude of 2150 m. 

Day 9: Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Kok Dzhayyk Pass (2700 meters) - Jeti Oguz gorge
This is the last day of trekking. After breakfast we start in the direction of the Jeti Oguz gorge - one of the most popular places in our country for its beautiful wilderness. First, we go down to the place of Ak Tash, where we cross the river Kyzyl Suu (Red River). After that we begin the ascent to the pass Kok  Dzhayyk. The way will pass through a miniature pine woods, which will impress you with its quiet silence. It seems as if the whole world looks at you there. After the forest we will have a look at the Jeti Oguz gorge which will impress you for sure. After a couple of kilometers we reach the yurt camp Kok Dzhayyk at the altitude of 2300 m where we stop for the night. Overnight and dinner in yurts. 

Day 10: Jety Oguz gorge - Karakol (30 km - 1 h)
As soon as we finish with breakfast our journey will continue in the direction of the capital of Issik Kul region. From Djety - Ogyz canyon it is a short drive to Karakol. Check-in hotel Elita**.  Today we will visit the Museum of Prjevalsky, dedicated to the outstanding Russian explorer of Central Asia. In order to understand the Kyrgyz life of the 19th century we will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the wooden mosque, made in the Chinese style.  In the evening we drive to Dyishin village, where we will have dinner with Chinese Muslims, here they are called Dungans, who have come from Dunhuang, central China. You will have dinner after we come back to hotel. They are good at agriculture and very famous for their national cuisine.  Chinese Muslims came to Kyrgyzstan 200 years ago fleeing away the persecution of the Chinese authorities. We will have an opportunity to try different kinds of salads and national dungan bread. 

Day 11: Karakol - Kochkor village (330 km-6 h)
Early in the morning we move to the Kochkor village, where we can discover national traditions and customs, watch the process of making traditional Kyrgyz carpets and visit a handicraft museum. Also we will see and participate in the process of settling a yurt, a traditional collapsible felt house of nomads. In the evening you will listen to the Folk-concert.  On the way to Kochkor village we will drive along the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake - it means you will see the "the treasure of the Celestial Mountains" form all sights! Dinner in a yurt and carpet-making show is organized especially for you. Overnight is in a guesthouse.  

Day 12: Kochkor - Bishkek
Transfer from Kochkor to Bishkek. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Free time for shopping or to walk around the central part of the capital city. 

Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
Departure transfer to the Manas International Airport. You will be accompanied there by your guide.
