This adventure represents a great chance to discover the superb land of heavenly mountains, situated in the heart of Central Asia. The whole tour goes along the Great Silk Way passing all the way through the exciting Tian Shan Range. You will visit the world's 2nd largest alpine lake - Issyk-Kul; the charming Son Kul Lake, which is situated on a high flat terrain (3013m. above sea level) in the centre of Kyrgyzstan. You will be taken back to the time of nomadic way of life, their mores, culture and food. You will enjoy seeing untouched nature, wild places, and remarkable highlights of the middle centuries!  

Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
You will be collected by your guide from International Airport of Manas and accompanied to Bishkek City. Drive from the Airport to Bishkek takes 30 minutes. On arrival in Bishkek you will commence the day with a breakfast. Transfer (200 km.) from Bishkek to the heavenly Issyk Kul Lake (1608 m. above sea level). On our way to the lake, we will visit the Burana Tower Architectural Complex   that includes the minaret from the 11th century A. D. and an open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors. We continue our way to the lake after having taken a traditional lunch. Issik - Kul is the 2nd largest alpine lake in the world after the Lake Titicaca in South America. The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On our arrival in Hotel on the northern shore of the lake you will have a spare time, you can lie on the warm sandy beach or to swim in the lake. Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities thanks to the salty water. At 7 p.m. your dinner will be served.  

Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
This day starts at 8 o'clock with a breakfast. Till 12 p.m. you have time for leisure or to go swimming in the lake. Later on, you will begin your trip (200 km) to Karakol town by vehicle. On our way, we will visit ancient carvings on the boulders that dated back to 800 B.C., including the local museum of Issyk - Kul in Cholpon - Ata. During the second stop of the trip at 12 o'clock, you could enjoy lunch in a relaxed ambiance. After lunch you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat to enjoy to the full beauty of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia before continuing our way to Karakol town the northern shore. At 8 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse in Karakol.

Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
The entire morning is dedicated to a guided Karakol city tour. You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock.  After breakfast we will visit the Dungan mosque, which was built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of the old wooden Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral. Soon after, you will visit the museum of Prjevalsky, who was one of the world's greatest explorers. His main successes were: the crossing of the great Taklamakan Desert and the finding of more than 4000 species of flora and fauna, including the horse that was later named after the explorer. We will end this sightseeing tour with a customary dine and at 1 p.m. we leave Karakol and start our trip(30km) to the striking Jeti Oguz (Seven Bulls) Canyon. There you will see the Broken Heart Mountain, which you will be told nice fairy tale about. In Jety Oguz there is sanatorium where you can take a hydro bathe or get a massage session. After that we can explore the Jeti Oguz Valley:Yuri Gagarin's holiday house, yurts, alpine flora, or Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley with its geophysics station built in 1948 and hot spring waters. Transfer to Tamga Village. Tamga is the place where the Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century and left carvings on the stone in the Tamga Gorge. In the Tamga Guesthouse dinner will be served. Optionally you can go to sauna. You will also spend the night in the guesthouse of Tamga. 

Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkor (120km) 
9 o'clock breakfast. Till afternoon you have time to explore the village of Tamga or to have a rest on the southern beach of the Issyk Kul Lake. We start our trip to Kochkorka village that is in the Naryn Region by car. In Bokonbaevo village we will have a break to have a lunch in the house of a local eagle-hunter. Traditional way of nomads hunting with the help of eagles for hares, foxes and other animals. An eagle hunting show can be organized. After having lunch, we will carry on our way to Kochkor via the water reservoir of Orto-Tokoi. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. In the Kochkorka village you will meet a family that will demonstrate you the way of how national felt carpets are produced. During this felt show you even can create your own carpet. Overnight stay is in the Kochkor guesthouse. 

Day 5: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
Breakfast. After that we start our trip to the 2nd biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic Son Kul. We will have lunch on the way. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level surrounded by mountains and it is the highest mountain lake in the republic. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads of the Naryn region started to come to this wonderful area to use it as a pastureland. You will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its environs after our coming. Around the lake you will see yurt camps that are used by the nomads as their traditional habitations. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with thin felt mats. Yurts are built without nails. Dinner and overnight are in the yurts. 

Day 6: Son Kul Lake (3013m. above sea level) 
Your breakfast is at 9 a.m. After breakfast you will have a spare time at Son - Kul Lake to explore its nature on your own, and it is also a great chance to familiarize with nomadic traditions and way of life. You can ride on a horse along the lake's shore, or just relaxing in the atmosphere of the wild, but quiet nature. At 2 p.m. lunch will be served. After having lunch you will see also ancient carvings on the stones - petroglyphs and shamans' ritual stones. In original nomadic houses - yurts national dinner will be served. This night you will spend in the yurts. 

Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock your breakfast will be served. Afterwards we start our drive back to Bishkek city (the Kyrgyz capital). On our arrival in Bishkek you will have a guided city tour. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Victory Square (Pobeda Square), Art Gallery,  the Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, National Concert Hall, Oriental Bazaar, and many others places of interest. Lunch. You will be given a separate tour program, listing all places visited including a brief description. Night is in the Hotel****. At 7 p.m. a goodbye dinner is served in the restaurant. 

Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
You will be collected from the hotel at the time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompanied you to the Manas Airport.
